We are currently recruiting on their behalf for a Delegated Underwriting Assistant, based at their office in the heart of London. The successful candidate will handle a range of different duties, including assisting with Delegated Underwriting compliance, and ensuring that the information is correctly and accurately recorded in the Binder Management and Coverholder approval tools, monitoring any exceptions.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the work of the Delegated management team in controlling and monitoring the syndicate’s Delegated Underwriting business, ensuring adherence to Lloyd’s Underwriting Management Standards.
- Managing receipt and chasing risk and premium bordereaux, liaising with Operations and Underwriting teams as required.
- Mapping and processing initial risk and premium bordereaux in the Bordereau Management system.
- Reviewing, analysing and processing Binder information and registrations.
- Liaising with the Brokers, Underwriters and Operations team to ensure that Delegated account information is current, accurate and complete.
- Reviewing risk and premium data, assessing the current credit control position, and raising any outcomes with Underwriters, Brokers and Coverholders.
- Managing the development, implementation and documentation of processes and controls for efficient handling of the Delegated Authority accounts.
- Completing pre-bind quality assurance (PBQA) and other contract wording reviews.
- Carrying out maintenance and testing of Delegated Underwriting processes and systems.
- Supporting the onboarding and ongoing monitoring of Coverholders during busy periods.
Key Requirements
- Candidates must have previous experience in a similar role within the Lloyd's / London Market.
- Strong IT skills, particularly with regards to Excel, Word and WaterTrace.
- Excellent organisation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse and process complex accounts and transactions.
