The successful candidate will handle their own busy portfolio of claims from mixed Marine lines of business, such as Cargo, Hull and Marine Liability.
This is a 12 month fixed term contract position, and an exciting opportunity that will place the candidate in a leading position within the Lloyd’s Market.
Key Responsibilities
- Handling a portfolio of claims comprising of Cargo, Hull and Marine Liability, and/or Power and Renewable Energy, depending on the experience of the successful candidate.
- Participating in claims lifecycle reviews and driving down static claim volumes and values.
- Working with the company's brokers to deliver good outcomes, both for the company and for clients.
- Working with underwriters and claims colleagues to add value and build the company's presence internally.
- Contributing to internal improvement workstreams to help drive the division forward, and become the best claims team in the London Market.
Key Requirements
- At least 3 years' experience of handling Marine or Energy Claims.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Working knowledge of ECF.
- Good mathematical and report writing skills, with the ability to analyse complex issues.
