We are currently recruiting for a Senior Client Account Handler on behalf of our client, one of the leading brands in the UK insurance market.
The successful candidate will act as the port of call for their portfolio of High Net Worth customers, as well as supporting the wider team in the management of very large, complex accounts.
You will have to understand the customers’ needs to ensure the effective negotiation of renewal terms, processing of mid-term changes, and identification & conversion of cross sell opportunities. You will also have to seize opportunities to convert new business when your clients refer their contacts to you.

Key Responsibilities
- Having full responsibility for the retention of your client portfolio.
- Building and enhancing both external and internal relationships, dealing with varied and wide ranging private client contacts on a daily basis.
- Getting to know and understand the company's clients, building relationships and facilitating & converting unprompted enquiries.
- Negotiating mid-term and renewal terms, as well as new business terms on occasion, for dream homes, unique collections, supercars, and holiday villas.
- Growing the team’s existing business income through retention, cross-sell, and up-sell.
- Going the extra mile when dealing with challenging situations, bringing the company's brand and values to life in every transaction.
- Ensuring client data security and privacy is maintained at all times.
Key Requirements
- Experience in a similar role within insurance, with excellent customer service and client management skills.
- Able to use expert product knowledge to effectively service customers.
- Adaptable to change and able to pick up new systems quickly.
