We are currently recruiting for a US Casualty Claims Adjuster on behalf of our client, a Lloyd’s Syndicate in the London market.
The successful candidate will predominantly handle a portfolio of US Casualty / General Liability Claims.

Key Responsibilities
- Handling a portfolio of Casualty claims from first advice to settlement, across both Open Market and Binding Authority placements.
- Interacting with key internal and external stakeholders on claims related matters.
- Servicing brokers and clients, providing prompt and efficient claims resolution within clearly defined authority limits.
- As appropriate, appointing and managing experts to assist in claims investigation and resolution.
- Assisting in the monitoring of key risk claims and trends by collating data and reports.
- Helping to provide regular feedback to senior management and underwriters.
- Contributing to the strategy for the Claims Team, and ensuring its successful delivery.
- Helping to maintain strong relationships with the Underwriters.
- Working under the direction and supervision of the Claims Manager, and assisting as required with all aspects of Casualty claims adjustment and associated reporting.
Key Requirements
- A minimum of two/three years working within the Lloyd's market within an international claims role; ideally focused on US Casualty, but experience within other classes, such as Marine Liability Claims, may also be considered.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Good mathematical and report writing skills.
