US Casualty Claims Adjuster - London

Key Responsibilities

• Handling a portfolio of Casualty claims from first advice to settlement, across both Open Market and Binding Authority placements.
• Interacting with key internal and external stakeholders on claims related matters.
• Servicing brokers and clients, providing prompt and efficient claims resolution within clearly defined authority limits.
• As appropriate, appointing and managing experts to assist in claims investigation and resolution.
• Assisting in the monitoring of key risk claims and trends by collating data and reports.
• Helping to provide regular feedback to senior management and underwriters.
• Contributing to the strategy for the Claims Team, and ensuring its successful delivery.
• Helping to maintain strong relationships with the Underwriters.
• Working under the direction and supervision of the Claims Manager, and assisting as required with all aspects of Casualty claims adjustment and associated reporting.

Key Requirements

• A minimum of two/three years working within the Lloyd's market within an international claims role; ideally focused on US Casualty, but experience within other classes, such as Marine Liability Claims, may also be considered.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Good mathematical and report writing skills.
